HAND Decorated Sugar Cookies

My sugar cookies are a Sweethart speciality and a sought after treat in our area. They make wonderful favours for special occasions! My signature vanilla bean and citrus sugar cookie dough is rolled out, cut, and baked. After cooling, these cookies are meticulously hand decorated and piped with royal icing, which compliments the softness of the cookie with a lovely crunch and delicate flavour. From start to finish, many hours go into a batch of cookies, and the end result is several little edible works of art. And yes, they really DO taste as good as they look! Generally, sugar cookies start at $60 per dozen and the price goes up from there, however cost is dependent on size, colours, lettering, and design complexity. These cookies come individually packaged and heat sealed to keep them safe, which means that they will stay fresh for 3-4 weeks if kept in a cool dry spot. They also freeze tremendously well - if you manage to save any for later! |

ORDERING POLICIES
INGREDIENTS & ALLERGIES: I do not add any nuts to my sugar cookies, however my home kitchen is not certified nut-free. While I do my best to keep things thoroughly clean and sanitised, there is always a chance of cross contamination. If you or anyone consuming the sugar cookies have severe food allergies to any common ingredients or food additives, please keep this in mind. Contact me if you have any concerns! Sugar cookies contain common allergens such as wheat, corn, eggs, and dairy.
While I strive to give you the best looking cookie, taste is the most important to me - first and foremost. I use quality ingredients in all my sugar cookies, including local Arva Mills flour (the only flour I've used for the past seven years), pure vanilla extract, and real vanilla bean seeds. I want to give you guys a good sugar cookie, all around!
HEALTH & SAFETY: I operate from a licensed home kitchen which is inspected on a regular basis by Huron Perth Public Health and it is fully compliant with local health regulations.
COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: Your health is important to me, and I have always done my best to keep a clean and sanitised work environment. I don't have any employees, so it's just me (and my partner whom I share the household with) in the kitchen. During pick-ups, I always wear my mask. However, I am more than happy to accommodate you if you'd prefer a no-contact pick-up, please just ask! I want all of my customers to feel comfortable when they arrive for their order.
PICK-UP, DELIVERY & SHIPPING: Pick-ups for the Sweethart Shop are done weekly, every Friday, between 3pm and 7pm. Orders are for pick-up at my home kitchen here in Goderich, Ontario, Canada, located at 178 Cambridge Street (front porch door, just ring the bell). By appointment only, please, no walk-ins. Delivery or shipment is not available at this time - local pick-up only.
PAYMENT: Payment is processed online via e-transfer or at pick-up with credit card via Square tap reader.
RETURNS & REFUNDS: Due to the edible nature of my products, I cannot offer returns or refunds, sorry. But if you're unhappy with your cookies for any reason, please send me a message - I want to make things right! I want all of my customers to be happy customers. <3
